Mood: chillin'
Now I'll get a chance to see just how many people are checking out my blog. I'm finally writing again after about two months. I guess the only excuse I can give is that I was busy working on my website and didn't have time to write. Plus, I still have to get used to the fact that people may actually read my incoherent ramblings!
Did Pilates for the first time today. I signed up for a class that's being held at my job during lunchtime. A little sore, but not too much. Some of the moves are like Yoga, which I'm very familiar with. Overall I think I'm gonna like it.
Not much else happening in my world right now. Maybe one of those lulls before a flurry of activity. I actually wasn't online at home for quite a while due to being internet and cable TV challenged, thanks to the wonderful people at Time Warner Cable. I won't even start or I'll be here all night! Suffice it to say, they can take their cable, internet and phone service and shove 'em!
Anyway, before I get myself in a bad mood, let me continue on. Looking forward to a three-day trip to Austin, TX next week. Business related, but still - a trip is a trip. I haven't been to TX since the early 80's, so I'm really looking forward to it. Wish it was San Antonio, but beggars can't be choosers. I'm not paying for it.
Hey, I could really get the hang of this. I've pretty much blown away watching the season endings of all my favorite TV shows, courtesy of - AGAIN - good ole Time Warner Cable. I missed a few crucial weeks on some of them and now I can't get myself interested in picking up on them again. Especially Veronica Mars - miss a week or two and you're WAY behind. The only ones I refused to give up are LOST, Gilmore Girls and Supernatural. Even my beloved Bones will have to be watched in reruns over the summer.
Oh well - the weather's too nice now to come in early and watch TV. OHHHH OHHHH - this Friday night Hell's House Band returns to a local watering hole and I MUST GO SEE this excellent AC/DC cover band. Last time they played that venue, I ended up getting the flu half way through the evening and had to leave. UNHEARD OF! Me walking out on a AC/DC cover band - you KNOW I was seriously ill. But I'm definitely not missin' it this time around.
OK - now I'm comfortable doing this, so I'll be back often. So all you hoards of people can keep up with my exciting life. Forget Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie - try keeping up with me!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!
